Psalm 23 Mural

In spring of 2013, Paul came up to the office and told the family that the Lord gave him a dream. The dream was to have the south side of Hensley’s Paint Shop, which borders the Tippecanoe cemetery, painted with a mural depicting the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and representing the 23rd Psalm. He contacted a well know artist in the community, Robert A. Hudson, and commissioned him to go to work on this endeavor. Soon after, Paul was diagnosed with a brain tumor which eventually took his life in November 2013. Paul said he always felt bad for building the buildings so close to the cemetery. He never wanted folks visiting the cemetery to think of Hensley’s. Today, both Paul and Joyce are buried next to Joyce’s Parents, Ed & Pearl Hall, just a few feet away from the company they founded over 60 years ago.
